UGCAB Capacity Building Committee (CB)

The UGCAB Capacity Building Committee (CB) is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing programs that enhance the competence and performance of UGCAB members and stakeholders. The Committee focuses on strengthening technical knowledge, skills, and resources through training, workshops, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Its main objectives are to:

• Support the continuous improvement of conformity assessment infrastructure within member bodies.
• Coordinate capacity-building activities aligned with UGCAB’s strategic plan and international best practices.
• Ensuring transparency, accuracy, and consistency in all public information and messaging.
• Assess training needs and develop tailored programs to address identified gaps.
• Facilitating internal communication among member bodies to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The CB plays a pivotal role in ensuring that UGCAB and its members maintain a high level of competence, consistency, and credibility in their conformity assessment services.
